Small Boots/Superdrug Haul

Hey everyone,

I recently went to town and did a bit of makeup shopping. I'm currently not buying any high-end makeup as I know all the holiday collections are coming out soon and I'll want all of them (already want so much of Urban Decay's). I had a few essentials I needed to get then picked up a few other things that caught my eye. I spent about £20 in total as Boots were having a Buy 1 get the 2nd half-price offer which was great!

MUA Lipstick 'Shade 3'
I'm always hearing so much about MUA and how good quality their prices are for such little money. This was the last thing I actually bought, I was in Superdrug and had spent most of my money then came across the MUA stand, I knew I wanted to try something, and as I'm going through a lipstick craze at the moment I chose a lipstick. The shade I really wanted (Shade 2) was only available in a tester so I settled for Shade 3. It's a really bright pink that's just gorgeous on the lips.

Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lip Paints '158' and '160'
I really love the packaging of these Barry M lipsticks. I may be wrong but I don't know any other brand with bright pink packaging. It makes them look a bit different and also helps them to stand out. I chose '158' which is this really gorgeous coral. I thought it might be similar to MAC Watch Me Shimmer but it has more orange in it. It's a really lovely colour. I also chose '160'. I love vampy colours and as Autumn is coming up I thought I'd get a new one. It's a gorgeous dark red colour (not as dark as it looks). It's similar to MAC Rebel but with more red undertones.

Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil 'Vanilla Sky'
I have seen so many great reviews for these. I was really torn between Vanilla Sky (the one I got) and Vintage Blush which was a gorgeous champagne colour. In the end I went for this one as I thought it would be a great colour for highlighting the browbone and inner corner of the eye. They are said to be waterproof but I'm not sure how well they actually hold up.

Rimmel Day to Night Mascara 'Black'
I've been in desperate need of a mascara for a while. I was originally going to get Maybelline The Rocket, however my sister told me to get this one as she thought I'd love it. I haven't had chance to use it yet but I do like the packaging and usually like Rimmel mascaras.

Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner
I needed a new liquid liner as mine was quickly running out. I'd heard a lot of great reviews for this, and for the price (£3.19) I thought it was worth a try. I've only tried it quickly but I'm already impressed. It's super black and the nib is really easy to use.

So that's it for my small haul! I hope you enjoyed hearing about what I bought and I'd love to hear about any new purchases you've recently bought, or if you had any recommendations for when I next go shopping.

Haul | Superdrug

Only a very tiny haul from Superdrug, but I thought I'd show you what I got! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know how much I love Sleek, so of course two of the main things I purchased were from Sleek.

Firstly I got the new Sleek Blush by 3 in Sweet Cheeks. I already have the Sleek Blush by 3 in Pumpkin which I reviewed here, I love this blush palette and use it constantly. When I saw the reviews and swatches of the new one, I knew I had to get it. I love the bright colours in it, and know it will become a new staple in my collection.
While looking at the Sleek range, I decided to also pick up the Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light. I've heard so many good reviews of this product, and I need a new bronzer as mine is running out. My current bronzer is from MAC and is a bit dark for my skintone so needs a lot of blending. As this kit is in light I'm hoping the bronzer is a better fit for my skintone. I got the kit without the blush in as I am thinking of buying the Blush by 3 palette in Lace at some point which contains the same blush.

I also picked up an MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde. I've never bought anything from MUA but have heard their products are good for the price of £1 each (for most things). I never do anything with my eyebrows so decided to pick this up and see if I liked it or not. For the price, I figured if I didn't it wouldn't be a huge loss. Whereas if I bought an expensive eyebrow product and didn't like it, that would be a bigger regret.

That's all I got, let me know what you think and if you'd like to see reviews of any of the products!

Haul! | Mango

This is my first haul post on my blog! I know some people don't like hauls because they think people are showing off or bragging but that really isn't the case. I love seeing what people have bought, it makes me see new things that I like and want, that I didn't even know existed! I also find it interesting to see what people choose to buy and why.

I was in London yesterday for a careers event and had to go to Oxford Street while I was there. I didn't really buy anything other than in Mango. They had a 50% sale in the store and being a lover of Mango clothing, I had to have a look. I don't have a Mango immediately near me (unless I get the train into Birmingham centre and the Mango is quite small) so it was a great chance to look at what they had in stock. I did like a lot of the clothes but decided I'd got too many clothes already.

I needed a new bag and shoes desperately so managed to pick up things that I actually needed and will use, rather than things that will go in my wardrobe and be barely worn!

Touch Quilted Bowling Bag - £42.99 £19.99

The first thing I picked up was this black bag. I really needed a new handbag for everyday use. At the moment I've been using a smaller Mango bag which is great for going out to dinner or for a night out, but is too small for everyday use. It's also quite old and this is beginning to show. This bag is really spacious and you could certainly fit a lot in it. I also like the fact that it will go with all my clothes. I'm really happy with this, and I know Mango bags are good quality.

Studded Shoes - £59.99 £29.99

I don't know the exact name of these shoes as they aren't on their website.

The second thing I picked up were these shoes. And I'm in love with them. I've wanted some shoes in this style for ages but can never seem to find any that are affordable but good quality. These are good quality shoes, they are quite hard and sturdy so certainly aren't going to fall apart like a lot of the other shoes I've seen would. I also love the studs, it makes them a bit different but still keeps them girly. I'm going to be wearing these a lot. They were also a great price at only £29.99. They are clearly good quality which is why they were supposed to be so expensive, and I'm so happy I managed to get the style and quality I wanted for half the price!

They're a bit dirty in the photo because I actually wore them yesterday as the shoes I was wearing were annoying me as they're a bit worn so don't fit great anymore. These were really comfortable and fitted my feet perfectly.

Red Heart Shaped Coin Purse £9.99 £4.99

This wasn't on the website either, so don't the exact name.

The last thing I picked up was this purse. I was in the queue when saw this by the time. At the price of £4.99 I couldn't resist as it was such a nice purse and I needed a one because mine is really really old. It won't hold cards in, but will be great for my holding my money.

That was all for my haul from Mango! I really love everything I got and know I will use it all a lot. Does anyone else shop at Mango? Let me know in the comments!

That's all for now,
